Mighty Makers stick to it with duct tape wearables

DeKALB – This month, the DeKalb Public Library’s Mighty Makers are challenged to make something from duct tape that they could wear, such as shoes, a bracelet, a hat, etc.

Children are welcome to attend the program at 1 p.m. Saturday. It is part of Mighty Makers, the library’s making club for K-fifth-grade students. The group meet monthly to do a STEM challenge. Children in K-second grade are encouraged to attend with an adult.

Space is limited to 20 participants. Registration will begin one hour before the start of the program, at the Youth Services Desk. The library is at 309 Oak St.
