SYCAMORE – A DeKalb woman is accused of using an elderly woman’s credit card to buy iPhones valued at about $2,400, according to DeKalb County court records.

Terril L. Myers, 45, of the 600 block of Ellwood Drive, has been charged with unlawful financial exploitation of an elderly person.

Police said in court records that on Aug. 19, Myers, a caretaker for the alleged victim, used the woman’s credit card to buy two iPhone X phones, valued at $2,400, at Best Buy in DeKalb.

Myers was released Thursday on her signature after a bond hearing and is due back in court at 9 a.m. Jan. 4.
