DeKALB – Two cast members from MTV’s reality game show “The Challenge” are coming to town Thursday night.

Brad Fiorenza and Nany Gonzalez, cast members of the MTV show “The Real World” along with “The Challenge,” will be in DeKalb for a meet and greet at 10 p.m. Thursday at Fatty’s Pub and Grille, 1312 W. Lincoln Highway, to take photos and sign autographs for patrons.

Fiorenza is a current cast member of this season’s “The Challenge: Final Reckoning.” He was a cast member of “The Real World: San Diego” in 2004 and has appeared in 10 seasons of “The Challenge.”

Gonzalez was part of the cast of “The Real World: Las Vegas” in 2011 and has appeared in six seasons of “The Challenge.”

Jeff Dobie of Haymaker Enterprises, which operates Fatty’s Pub and Grille, said the most recent MTV star that came to the restaurant was Chanel West Coast, who took photos with and signed autographs for attendees two years ago. Dobie said she brought in between 300 and 400 people, and that you never know how many people “The Real World” cast members will bring into Fatty’s.

But, Dobie said, it’s shocking to see how even middle-aged family members of his staff knew about “The Real World,” which started airing more than 25 years ago on MTV.

“It seems like that demographic has grown up with them,” Dobie said.

Cover charge for the event is $10 a person and goes directly to the artists, Dobie said. He said the event itself will be in the back of the building.
