Illinois Counties Association supports FVOAS

The Illinois Counties Association recently granted all 102 Illinois counties a donation to distribute to area nonprofits of the county’s choice. Fox Valley Older Adult Services was chosen as one of the organizations. Pictured are (from left) John Frieders, DeKalb County Board vice chairman; Tyler Stevenson, FVOAS board member; and Mark Pietrowski, DeKalb County board chairman. FVOAS will use these funds to serve area seniors in programs that improve and enrich independent living, enhance dignity and self-respect, and encourage participation in community life. FVOAS serves DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and LaSalle counties. For more information, call 815-786-9404 or stop by the Fox Valley Community Center at 1406 Suydam Road, Sandwich.
