SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Health Department will host an emergency preparedness presentation Monday at the Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St., to stress the importance of planning for disasters.

One topic of discussion will be how to build a family emergency preparedness kit. To assist with this, attendees will receive a starter kit while supplies last.
On Tuesday, the Citizens Utility Board will host two sessions at the library on how to identify errors in utility bills that might cause someone to overpay for gas and electricity. These session will be at 1 and 6 p.m.
