Children’s Community Theatre has assembled a cast of 75 area children for its production of “Grease: The School Version.” A family-friendly version of the classic musical will be performed April 5 through 8 at the Sandwich Opera House in Sandwich.

“The production team and performers are really excited about bringing this fun musical to life,” director Sue Graham said in a news release. “Besides an excellent cast from throughout DeKalb County, this year we have the pleasure of affording kids the opportunity to perform in the Sandwich Opera House, which is a wonderful, historic theater.”

Tickets cost $12 for adults and $6 for ages 12 and younger. Showtimes are 7 p.m. April 5 and 6; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 7; and 3 p.m. April 8.

Because the Sandwich Opera House only seats 300, audiences are urged to purchase tickets early, Graham said in the release. Tickets will be available soon at cctonstage.com.
