DeKalb theater plans to screen documentary on gender inequality

DeKALB – The AMC Market Square 10 Theater plans to have a one-time screening of “Equal Means Equal,” a documentary analyzing the treatment of women in today’s world, at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

To make the event possible, there is a deadline to sell a minimum number of tickets to cover the costs of showing the documentary in DeKalb. Those interested should order their tickets at www.tugg.com by 6 p.m. Thursday.

Tickets are $11 apiece, and credit cards will not be charged until the minimum number of tickets is sold.

The screening is part of a series titled Community Conversations, which addresses current events and issues critically important to both DeKalb County and the country. After the screening, there will be a discussion organized by the League of Women Voters of DeKalb County.
