DeKALB – The DeKalb Public Library will host “Maker Mondays” from 7 to 8 p.m. in February. Participants can learn how to design various 3-D objects relating to popular trends and upcoming holidays.
On Feb. 5 and 12, attendees will use TinkerCAD and 3-D printers to make a heart for Valentine’s Day, and on Feb. 19 and 26, attendees will create a lucky clover. After the class, library staff will print the items on the 3-D printers for people to pick up in a couple of days.
These classes and the accompanying 3-D printing are free. Participants must be at least 8 years old and have basic computer skills.
No experience with 3-D design or printing is required.
