Illinois Department of Insurance to hold health care enrollment meeting

DeKALB – The Illinois Department of Insurance and Get Covered Illinois, the state’s official health care marketplace, will host a meeting Wednesday to answer any questions on the health insurance marketplace’s open enrollment period, which ends Dec. 15.

The meeting, which will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St., is part of a 102-county tour. Insurance representatives will be on hand to give consumers information on how to sign up through GetCovered.Illinois.gov.

Marketplace options are available at www.healthcare.gov.
