The Kishwaukee Symphony Associates hosted its members event, Coffee & Music with KSA, this fall at the Ellwood-Nehring House in DeKalb.

In addition to the coffee bar and KSA-prepared refreshments, members were treated to an overview of the upcoming concert season by KSO Conductor and Music Director Linc Smelser.

Following his remarks, members were treated to a performance by violinist Injoo Choi, pianist Sung Hoon Mo and Smelser on cello. They performed Franz Schubert’s Trio No. 1 in Bb Major for Violin, Cello and Piano.

For 34 years, KSA has been the major support organization for the KSO. Its membership is open to all who like beautiful music and want to enhance the position of the orchestra for the community.

For information or questions about KSA, contact KSA President Gretchen Moore at 815-758-6397 or gmoore@niu.edu.
