ROCHELLE – The Roberts Armory World War II Museum will be open in honor of Veterans Day from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge for admission.
The Higgins Boat will be available for viewing, weather permitting. The museum displays artifacts from World War II, specializing in the history of the 70th Tank Battalion, 10th Mountain Division of World War II and area veterans of World War II.
To find the museum, go to the intersection of Route 251 and Intermodal Drive in Rochelle (an Army truck is at this intersection), follow the signs about three miles to the museum.
