Circus shows Monday at Kingston Township Park

KINGSTON – The Kelly Miller Circus will perform two shows Monday at Kingston Township Park.

The circus is owned and produced by John Ringling North II, a descendant of the original Ringling Brothers, according to a news release.

The circus will perform at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the park, 32598

E. Five Points Road.

“Our circus is an up-close and personal salute to the origins of the circus combined with looking to its future,” Ringling North said in a news release.

The tour might be the last opportunity to see circus elephants perform in Illinois before a law prohibiting elephants in traveling animal acts takes effect Jan. 1.

The event is sponsored by the Kingston Township Park District. Tickets start at $6. They are available at Five Points Pub in Kingston, Butera Market in Genoa or at kellymillercircus.com.
