SYCAMORE – A DeKalb man accused of attacking his girlfriend and her daughter was ordered to be released from jail on his signature Tuesday.
Lee S. Seimer, 25, of the 300 block of North Third Street in DeKalb, is charged with four counts of domestic battery, an offense punishable by up to a year in jail if convicted.
According to court records, Seimer said his girlfriend accused him of looking inappropriately at her juvenile daughter.
Seimer said he then yelled at his girlfriend, who punched him in the face, records show.
She told police in court records that when she warned Seimer to stop looking at her daughter, he charged at her, grabbed her by the hair and hit her in the head.
During the altercation, his girlfriend’s daughter was nearby and also was struck in the head, records show.
DeKalb police said in court records that Seimer’s girlfriend had a mark on her forehead after the fight, and that her daughter also had an audio recording of the incident, in which Seimer can be heard screaming.

9 a.m. Sept. 28.
