Letters to the Editor

Thank you to Kishwaukee Fest Parade organizers

To the Editor:

As a small business, we are always looking for a way to expose our carpet cleaning company to more people. We would like to thank Michael Embrey, Jacki Bish and the parade staff for encouraging small and local companies to be part of the Kishwaukee Fest Parade.

Our entire family and staff (including our family dog) have enjoyed being in the parade, meeting new people and sharing candy with the kids, and treats with the dogs.

For us, the parade is a great way to share with the local people who and what we are, but, more importantly, it is a community event that affords us positive exposure.

We have been in the parade every year it has been held and we look forward to seeing the many people enjoying both the parade and variety of entries.

Each year we have been in the parade, we have picked up new customers for our business.

This year was especially rewarding as we picked up a major client here in DeKalb County, whom we would never been exposed to if we had not been in the Kish Parade.

It was also great being voted “The Best” carpet cleaners by the readers of the Daily Chronicle this year, as well.

Again, thank you Kishwaukee Fest Parade for being the great family event it has become, and for helping small businesses grow.
