Letter: Blame Washington, not Trump

To the editor:

In response to Julie Sorensen’s letter to the editor regarding Concerned for mental health in U.S.:

Yes, Julie, it is true Trump is out there, but at least he is out there for us to see.

American was dealt a bad deal when they were given two inappropriate candidates to vote for. It was either a blatant narcissist with his issues out there for the world to see or a career politician who is an underhanded, sneaky, corrupt, pathological liar, and who hid who she really is in plain sight.

There were no viable choices, so America had to make a decision. All the complaining, whining, and fear about Trump is exactly what those who voted for him felt about Clinton. Those who voted for Trump wanted change and/or remember Clinton for who she truly is. Her path is long and wide of corruption and lies, yet she diverted her supporters to blame Trump for the exact same things she is guilty of herself. A lot of us remember (very strongly) her path, her choices and her voice, which change like a chameleon to suit her present agenda.

America had no valid choice in the election so they had to choose and so they did. Trump was the result, and the only people we have to blame is Washington and the two parties. Not the American people. Because Washington doesn’'t care about Joe America. They care about their careers, their pockets and their vested special interests.

So for pity sakes, America, wake up. It is rampant on both sides. American wanted away from Washington. And that is how someone like Trump won.
