FAIRDALE – A ceremony to recognize the contributions of Rotary District 6420 and the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club will be held at the Fairdale warning siren at 4 p.m. Sunday.
District 6420, which includes several area Rotary clubs, funded the warning siren and tower through a Rotary Community Grant, which the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club (DeKalb/Sycamore) facilitated, according to a news release.
The bronze sign will recognize both entities, and District 6420 Gov. Jim Nelson will be present, as well as Kishwaukee Sunrise Club President David Dosier.
Fairdale residents and other interested community members are invited to attend.
