Egyptian Theatre to host benefit bike ride Saturday

DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre will host a biking benefit Saturday. 

“Ride Like an Egyptian” will begin and end at the Egyptian Theatre, 135 N. Second St., DeKalb, with 25-, 50-, 75- and 100-mile routes available. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and all riders must begin by 9 a.m. and finish by 3:30 p.m. 

The ride will have a central rest stop in Maple Park and support and gear support is provided throughout the ride. A meal will be provided at the end of the bike ride, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and running through 4 p.m. 

Registration costs $30 for adults and $10 for youth.
