SYCAMORE – Twenty 16- and 17-year-olds were ticketed this month after Sycamore police broke up a party in the 400 block of South Main Street, Sycamore Lt. Darrell Johnson said.

Sycamore police received a call about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 16 reporting a suspected underage drinking party, Johnson said. Officers found plastic cups, empty bottles, and teenagers inside the home and on the patio. The teens were cited for underaged drinking or possession of alcohol by a minor and released to their parents.
