Kaneland District offers preschool screening

Published: Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 5:30 a.m. CST

Kaneland School District Special Services will conduct a preschool screening on Sept. 19 at Blackberry Creek Elementary School in Elburn for students who may qualify for special education services.

Those who reside within the Kaneland School District, and suspect their child(ren), ages 3 to 5, have any delays in developmental milestones, are encouraged to attend. This is not a kindergarten screening. In addition, Child and Family Connections will be available (upon request) to screen children from birth to age 3 for suspected developmental delays.

For questions regarding Kaneland’s Early Childhood Services, or to schedule an appointment for a screening, call Stacy Krisch at the Kaneland Special Services Office at 630-365-5100, ext. 158.
