Published: Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

Calling all singers! The Celebration Chorale will begin practices for the Christmas Cantata, “Christmas is Coming, Sing for Joy.”

The practices will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday. The following week’s practice also will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 4. After that, practices will be held from 8 to 9:15 p.m. Wednesdays in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 321 Oak St., DeKalb.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 7 and 2 p.m. Dec. 6.

There are no tryouts for the Chorale, simply a willingness to sing and spread God’s love through music.
