Art league hosts pastel artist

Artist Pamela Hamilton will demonstrate her painting techniques at the Sept. 4 meeting of the Kishwaukee Valley Art League.

Kishwaukee Valley Art League will host a demonstration of artistry by Pamela Hamilton at its Sept. 4 meeting.

Hamilton’s work is focused predominantly on nature expressed in soft and oil pastels. She has received a number of awards at art shows, including more than two dozen over the past year. Her work can be viewed online at http://artbypamelahamilton.com/.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Club Room at Hy-Vee, 2700 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, and is open to the public.

KVAL is committed to promoting local artists and is dedicated to the development of upcoming artists in the Kishwaukee Valley area.
