Discover Sycamore's annual Block Party will take place Saturday.

Are you ready to rock the block? Get pumped for this year’s Discover Sycamore Block Party scheduled to take place from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday in downtown Sycamore.

This free day of fun provides entertainment for the entire family including kids’ games, inflatable attractions, face painting, DJ, contests, prizes, food from local vendors, beer garden, live music from Southern Charm and more.

The fun begins at 4 p.m. as families can enjoy some friendly competition in the Kids Game Area. Local businesses will host a fun fair with a variety of game booths and giveaways.

At 6 p.m., the Block Party DJ will keep the party going as families enjoy local food vendors such as Culver’s, Mudslingers, Sycamore’s Country Store & Catering, Slow Smoke BBQ and Sweet Dream Desserts and Catering.

At 8 p.m., get ready to party with local favorite Southern Charm as they rock the night away. Southern Charm is known for recreating the sounds of modern country as well as all-time favorites. Collectively, they bring several decades of experience and have populated dance floors across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin music venues.
