Christina Evans, 34, of Chicago is accused of dealing cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park.

DeKALB – A 34-year-old Chicago woman accused of dealing cocaine twice in February near Target in DeKalb remained in jail Tuesday unable to post 10 percent of her $100,000 bail.

Christina Evans, of the 5000 block of South Drexel Boulevard, allegedly sold less than a gram of cocaine on Sycamore Road near a park by the Target store Feb. 12 and Feb. 14, authorities said. She was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park and unlawful delivery and possession of a controlled substance, court records show.

If convicted of the most serious charge, she could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. She had her first court appearance Tuesday, and is next due in court Thursday.
