Waterman underage drinking investigated

WATERMAN – Police said they are investigating where a group of underage drinkers received their alcohol during a party Saturday night.

Thirteen people were charged with underage drinking after police received a report at 11:26 p.m. Saturday of loud music and multiple cars parked on the roadway on the 14000 block of Waterman Road in Waterman, authorities said. Some people were walking down the road with open containers of alcohol, police said.

Charged with underage drinking were: Courtney A. Moore, 19, of Clare; Riley R. Ryburn, 19, of Earlville; Logan J. Quest, 19, of Rochelle; Julian Sosa, 20, of Batavia; Joseph J. Miller, 20, of Waterman; Bret D. Ostrom, 20, of Shabbona; Danielle K. Guddendorf, 19, of Yorkville; Anne Marie Giese, 19, of Maple Park; Kaylie R. Hanson, 19, of Montgomery; Anna P. King, 19, of Sugar Grove; Kyle A. Lieving, 19, of Waterman; Katrina L. Picurro, 18, of Genoa; and Brandy L. Fik, 20, of Waterman.

A 17-year-old boy from Sycamore also was referred to juvenile court and transported home to his parents, police said.
