Meet Mia.

Mia is a 2-year-old blue and tan Cane Corso mix available for adoption at TAILS Humane Society in DeKalb.

Mia was found as a stray and came to TAILS from DeKalb County Animal Control. Looks can be deceiving, and although she may appear rough and tough, Mia is a party girl. She is a bit timid at first, but thinks everything is fun, interesting and meant for play.

A home with no young children is preferred, and she is looking for an experienced owner who can continue the training that is currently taking place at TAILS.

She is spayed, and available for adoption today.

Then There's Francis.

Francis is a 5-year-old orange and white domestic shorthair mix also available for adoption.

Francis was transferred to TAILS from another shelter and not much is known about her past.

Other cats make her a bit nervous, but he is eagerly awaiting visitors. She would be the ideal household cat. He loves to be brushed, and gets quite talkative for breakfast and dinner.

She is also spayed.
