Summer reading event offered in Genoa

The Christian churches of Genoa in partnership with NeighborsHouse.org, a nonprofit faith-based community development organization in DeKalb County, are sponsoring a week of literacy enrichment for children.

Summer Reading Vacation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Genoa VFW, 311 S. Washington St.

The week will feature games, reading buddies, small group reading times, quality children's books, a cookout and relationship building.
