Cortland Summer Fest begins Friday

Cortland Summer Fest will be held Friday and Saturday at Cortland Community Park, 70 S. Llanos St.

A tented beverage garden and food vendors will be available both days. Admission costs $5 for ages 21 and older, and is free for ages 20 and younger.Gates open at 6 p.m. Friday, with the bands Camouflage Sun performing from 7 to 10 p.m. and 29 Needles at 10:30 p.m. to midnight. Gates open at noon Saturday, with The Relics performing from 12:30 to 3 p.m., The Menagerie from 3:30 to 7 p.m. and Back County Roads from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.

A fireworks show will be held at dusk. Games for children and a book sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, hosted by the Cortland Public Library. The Cruizin' Wheels Car Show will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A silent auction and 50/50 drawing will be held Saturday hosted by the Cortland Committee.
