CHICAGO — Authorities have identified a mother of five who was shot to death while driving on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Chicago's South Side.

Illinois State Police say 24-year-old Jasmine Curry of Chicago was driving a minivan in the southbound lanes of Interstate90/94 at about 4 a.m. Wednesday when she was shot in the head by someone in another vehicle. Two passengers were not injured. State police say one passenger, a woman, is cooperating with their investigation and officers are still searching for a male occupant who fled after the shooting.

State police say investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting. They say they have a description of the other vehicle after obtaining surveillance video from cameras in the area and talking to witnesses.
