CHICAGO — A 10-month-old child has been hospitalized after falling from a second floor window of a Chicago home.

Authorities say the baby fell Sunday night and was rushed to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Kimberly Brown tells the Chicago Sun-Times that she is the child's grandmother. She says she thinks the baby crawled out the window from its bed. Brown says the grandfather was caring for the child at the time.
