Country music show collects school supplies

DeKALB – Gary Mullis is hosting the sixth annual Country Music Show for School Supplies from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20.

Live bands will perform country, bluegrass and gospel music at Feed'em Soup, 122 S. First St. in DeKalb, across from Walgreens. Musicians who would like to join the lineup are invited to call Mullis at 815-762-5589.

Admission to attend the show is a donation of school supplies. Pencils, paper, notebooks, pens, crayons, glue, rulers, backpacks, folders, and other supplies will be collected and donated to the local Salvation Army for distribution to children in need.
