Genoa Days festival ends today

GENOA – The 79th annual Genoa Days festival wraps up today.

The Brett’s 5K Walk/Run will take place at 8:30 a.m. at Genoa-Kingston High School, 980 Park Ave. The 4-H children’s pet show will be held onstage at 10:30 a.m., and the Genoa Days parade will start at 1 p.m. Beth Fowler School of Dance will perform from 3 to 4 p.m., and Wade Buzzard and The Crossroad Band will play rock music from 6 to 10 p.m.

Carnival wristbands for children will cost $16 from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
