Greek Fest comes home to Hopkins

Published: Friday, June 6, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

St. George Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek Fest will be back at the Hopkins Park shelter house in DeKalb on June 28 and 29.

The menu of Greek dishes promises to be larger and tastier than ever with Souvlaki, Greek Chicken and Gyros, along with many other favorites. The menu also will include some Greek appetizers and new dishes to try.

In addition to the tasty treats, Greek Fest will feature, as always, Greek dancing and music. A raffle for a cash prize also is planned.

Visa, Master Card and Discover cards will all be accepted for payment of prepared meals, Greek pastries or items from the Greek Grocery Store.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
