The Financial Aid Office at Kishwaukee College has announced a new scholarship available for adults who are beginning or returning to college at Kishwaukee: the Wayne McIlrath Family Scholarship. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office. The application deadline is July 1.

To be considered for the Wayne McIlrath Family Scholarship, adult students must complete and return the scholarship application to the Financial Aid Office on campus by July 1; submit a letter of application that describes academic and career goals, achievements, interests, financial need, obstacles and the reason the applicant thinks he/she deserves the award; and have completed the 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. FAFSA results must be received by July 1 to be eligible for the McIlrath Scholarship for Fall 2014.

Selection of the McIlrath Scholarship recipient will be determined by the applicant’s statement, academic potential, financial need and overall quality of the application.

For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at 815-825-2086, ext. 2240. Applications can be obtained at the Financial Aid Office in the Student Center, Room C2150, at Kishwaukee College.
