Meet Ball.

Ball is a 5-year-old grey domestic short-haired mix available for adoption at TAILS Humane Society in DeKalb.

Ball is looking for a forever home where she can be the only cat, but a larger mellow dog would be OK as long as they respect her space.

She is spayed, and enjoys exploring and playing with string toys, among other things.

Ball can be adopted at TAILS today.

Then there's Dink.

Dink is a 1-year-old white and black Australian shepherd mix who was adopted from TAILS in the fall, but who was returned because he needed a bit more house training.

He gets along with others dogs, and has a ton of energy.

Dink is neutered, will run for miles, chase a ball for hours, and still want to play at the end of the day.
