This summer’s first Fly-in/Drive-in Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport, 3232 Pleasant St., one mile north of Route 38 and one mile east of Peace Road on Pleasant Street. Breakfast is prepared by Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 241. All are welcome to fly, drive, bike or walk on in.

The event will feature food, family, friends and aircraft, a 50/50 raffle and a presentation of the Dr. Wilbur O. Thompson Flight Training Scholarship.

The menu will include pancakes, sausage, eggs cooked to order, coffee and juice. The cost is $6 per person. New this year, say thank-you to any military personnel or first responder by buying them breakfast, served with a smile.

EAA Chapter 241 is open to pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike. Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday at DeKalb Airport’s FBO Hanger. Light dinner is held at 6:30 p.m. followed by program at 7:30 p.m. See the calendar and directions at www.eaa241.org. New members and guests are welcome.
