Sycamore High School Memorial Day observance today

SYCAMORE – Sycamore High School staff and students will host a Memorial Day observance from 7:30 to 9 a.m. today.

The event will start at the school flag pole with the flag being lowered to half staff, a bugle playing taps and songs such as the national anthem being sung.

Displays will include a “Freedom isn’t free” wall of deceased veterans who were once Sycamore High School students and a Sycamore Historical Society display of area veterans.

Coffee, juice and treats will be available in the school cafeteria.
