Day of Caring seeks volunteers

Kishwaukee United Way is seeking volunteers for its 10th annual Day of Caring, a one-day effort that matches volunteers with projects at local nonprofits.

Any nonprofit organization in DeKalb County can request help washing windows, gardening, entering data, painting or other projects, according to a news release. Meanwhile, volunteers can come from local schools, Northern Illinois University, faith communities or other local groups.
