Sycamore baseball seeded first at Hampshire

The Sycamore baseball team earned the No. 1 seed at the Class 3A Hampshire Regional.

The Spartans will take on the winner of No. 4 Genoa-Kingston and No. 5 Hampshire in the regional semifinals. Burlington Central is the second seed while Wheaton Academy is seeded third. Kaneland is seeded second at the Class 3A Plano Regional.

In Class 4A, DeKalb is the No. 3 seed at its own regional and will take on second-seeded Dundee-Crown in the regional semifinals. Huntley is the top seed, while Larkin is seeded fourth and Rockford Jefferson is the fifth seed. Dates and times will be announced Wednesday.
