Meet Candy.

Candy is a 1-year-old black and white rat terrier mix available for adoption at TAILS Humane Society in DeKalb.

Candy was originally rescued from an overcrowded facility in Oklahoma, and now that she has a place to roam, she spends most of her time running and jumping around outside.

Her ideal owner would be with someone without children who has raised and trained dogs before.

Candy is spayed, and available for adoption at TAILS today.

Then there's Mallory.

Mallory is a 2-year-old brown and white domestic medium hair mix who is also looking for her forever home.

Mallory was found as a stray, and is unique because the end of her right rear leg is missing and her tail is shorter than you would normally see on a cat.

She is also spayed.
