Hiawatha to honor academic excellence

Hiawatha High School in Kirkland will honor those students with exceptional academic achievement over their entire high school career.

The Hiawatha Classroom Teachers’ Association will hold its annual Academic Excellence Recognition at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the multipurpose room.

Freshmen through seniors who have held a 3.5 GPA or higher will be honored at the event. Light refreshments will be served.
