Two DeKalb County men are serving prison terms for child pornography after recently accepting negotiated plea agreements.

Jaime Ramos, 40, of the 200 block of South Seventh Street in DeKalb, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after admitting he asked a girl to appear in a pornographic photograph Oct. 12, 2012, court records show.

In exchange for Ramos’ guilty plea April 23, prosecutors dropped charges alleging he used an online service to ask another girl to pose for a pornographic photograph in March 2012 and charges alleging he had sex with a child who also was a family member, court records show.

In an unrelated case, Jerome B. McCauley, 46, of the 300 block of Grant Street in Sycamore, was sentenced to six years in prison for having a computer image of a child younger than age 13 on Oct. 28, 2013, court records show.

In exchange for McCauley’s guilty plea April 24, prosecutors dropped four similar charges, court records show.

McCauley was a teacher at Wredling Middle School in St. Charles at the time of his arrest.
