Tint Sprint brings color to a 5K

Published: Monday, May 5, 2014 4:41 p.m. CST

The 2014 Tint Sprint Community Fun Run is a color-filled 5K walk/run.

Registration is open for the May 17 event that kicks off at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Sycamore at 9 a.m. and runs through two of Sycamore’s parks. The run ends back at CCA with a colorful celebration of music, food and fun. There will be bounce houses and a zipline sponsored by Jumpy Jumpers of Sycamore, activities for all and food.

Walkers, joggers and those who want to run while their children are entertained in the Kid Zone are invited. Runners start out clean, as they run the course, will be doused with colored powder in three different color zones, ending the run looking like a rainbow.

Visit www.cornerstonechristianacademy.com for information, a course map, and registration, or call Julianna Ladas at 815-895-8522.
