Danielle Guerra - dguerra@shawmedia.com Tails Humane Society volunteer Kathleen Brinkman walks Ivy, a 4.5 year old Jack Russell terrier mix on Monday during white-out conditions along Barber Greene Road in DeKalb. Ricky Castro, of the National Weather Service of Chicago, said that the county was likely to see up to an inch of snow accumulation in grassy and elevated areas. Roads remained wet because of the warm temperatures of the past week. Castro said to expect any snow to melt today with high temperature's in the low 40's. Ivy is available for adoption at Tails Humane Society.
