In the overnight hours of April 7, tools, several new Interstate automotive batteries and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken from a garage in the 600 block of Park Avenue in Genoa.

In the past several weeks, stop signs were stolen from the intersection of Spears Road and Motel Road; and Prosser Drive and Thomas Drive in Sycamore.

Anyone with information about the thefts, items taken or those involved should contact DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org or 815-895-3272. Callers need not give their name. Crime Stoppers may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
