Attorney to deliver public-interest lecture

DeKALB – A nationally renowned attorney and advocate for public justice and environmental issues will be the featured speaker at a free lecture at Northern Illinois University.

Plaintiff attorney Jan R. Schlichtmann will be the featured speaker for the Marla Dickerson Lecture on Public Interest at 3 p.m. Wednesday at NIU’s Swen Parson Hall, Francis X. Riley Courtroom.

The lecture will be followed by a reception. Schlichtmann specializes in consumer, environmental, product, and toxic torts and mass tort litigation.

One hour of continuing legal credit will be given for the lecture.
