The Kishwaukee College annual career fair will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center.

“We have nearly 50 employers attending the fair this year with open positions. Job seekers should bring resumes and come dressed for an interview and prepared to meet and impress the employers. You only have five minutes to be fabulous or forgotten,” said Michelle Allen, coordinator of the Kishwaukee College Career Center, in a news release. The career fair is free to job seekers and open to the public.

The Career Center will once again offer the navigating the career fair workshop at 1 p.m. in the Conference Center. The workshop offers tips and advice to job seekers to assist them in making the best impression on prospective employers. Topics covered include how to approach employers, why market yourself, and what to say and not to say.

Career fair attendees should park in the A Parking Lot and enter the conference center through Doors 16 or 17. For information, call 815-825-2086, ext. 4080, or visit www.kishwaukeecollege.edu/employment_fair/ which includes a complete list of employers at the career fair.
