Kish women’s basketball finishes 8th at nationals

The Kishwaukee College women’s basketball team finished in eighth place at the NJCAA national tournament this past weekend, ending the season with a record of 30-7.

The team’s 30 wins set a new program record. Kishwaukee went 2-2 over four days, defeating Mercyhurst Northeast (Md.) and Kankakee.

Tami Morice finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,250 points and Ashanti Davis was also named to the National All-Tournament Team.
