Vegetable pest and disease program offered

Various pest and disease problems are common in a vegetable garden yearly. Learn how to identify the most common vegetable pests and diseases and hear how to manage them using a variety of cultural, non-chemical or chemical controls.

“Vegetable Pest and Disease Management” will be presented by University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator Candice Miller from 3 to 4 p.m. April 3. The cost for the program is $5 per class. This class will be held at the DeKalb County Center for Agriculture at 1350 W. Prairie Dr. in Sycamore.
