Semi overturns on I-88 exit ramp

A semitrailer sits on the exit ramp from eastbound Interstate 88 to Annie Glidden Road on Friday, March 7, 2014. No one was injured when the semitrailer overturned about 10:30 a.m., leaving the large coils it was carrying sitting in the roadway.

DeKALB - Traffic slowed on eastbound Interstate 88 this morning as crews righted an overturned semitrailer on the exit ramp to Annie Glidden Road.

DeKalb fire crews responded to clear spilled diesel fuel about 10:30 a.m. Friday. By 11:15 a.m., the truck was upright, but one lane of the ramp was blocked. The truck had been carrying large coils that were blocking the ramp's shoulder.

The semitrailer's driver was not injured.
