Tommy Lucca had a game-high 18 points for the Genoa-Kingston boys basketball team in Monday’s Class 3A G-K Regional quarterfinal, but it wasn’t enough in a 59-46 loss to Montini in Genoa.

The fifth-seeded Broncos advance to today’s semifinal, where they’ll take on top seed Sycamore at 7 p.m.

Fourth-seeded G-K led 20-19 at halftime, but the Broncos outscored the Cogs 20-9 in the third quarter.

Montini went 26 of 40 from the free-throw line.
